Thermador / Siemans Warming Drawer HW300500

modern_mom35February 11, 2012

Does anyone have experience with this warming drawer? We found it in the clearance area of an appliance store today for $150.00 (listed price was $1300.00). I know from AJ Madison that it was discontinued, but we haven't been able to find much more info online. It would still be under the store's warranty policy. It seems like a great deal, but we wanted to see if you appliance gurus had any insight first.

Thanks!

Warming drawers are all pretty much the same--a box that heats. Some, like my KA, have a slow cook feature, but that wasn't a necessity for me. If the WD you found is in working order, I'd snap it up for that price.
