Identify these old pitchers

bowlmanNovember 30, 2010

They came to me from Germany and I never got much info on them. They both arrived to me at the same time.9" and 7" tall.

Old redware, slip decorated...probably dating somewhere between late 18th century to early 20th century.
I don't know how they did things in Germany...or even if they were made in Germany.
Hand can probably see the finger print of the potter where the handle is attached to the body of the pitcher.

Some how I got hooked up with a collector/seller in germany a few years back and bought a few items from him. Sometimes he would just surprise me and send me a box of misc pottery from flea markets. I have a few others I will post for conversation. Hard to find info on pottery like this.
