Antique or Vintage Dining Chairs

shannoncarleyNovember 25, 2013

I have a dining set. Not sure how old. The chairs seem to have Sheraton style legs and pierced vase backs. The table has 6 legs. Two in the very center. Does anyone have any info? I can't find the maker or age. The bottom of the table is marked pat 128.

It's the 1920s-1930s version of Shearton or Hepplewhite. Instead of the ornate carvings and fancy backs you have flat backs, rounded contours and simplified lines.

Yes, the detail on the legs seem to say that.
