antique electric lamp. need info on it.

i have an inward lit, solid brass, 17' silhouette lamp. it has a paisley style cut. it has an urn shape to it. it was electric and came with a cloth insulated cord. i can't find any info on it.

That's a very blurry picture....hard to tell a lot. what does the bottom look like? is it marked anywhere?
It looks like it's chinese to me....about 1920's.
Just a gut feel from the style and knowing that there was a lot of imported chinese brass stuff about that time.

Cloth cords on lamps is usually pre WW II, although they were used later on appliances. Is it a silk-rayon covered cord or cotton?
