Leaf silverplate candlesticks maker?

javaandjazzAugust 1, 2010

I just received these from a friend cleaning out her great uncles home. It took me awhile but I got all of the tarnishing off the silver. They are silver plated as stated underneath the leaf with the initials "LB". Does anyone know the maker "LB"? I don't think they are worth anything, they are only silver plate and there isn't much weight to them. Thanks!

They're lovely....the silver is in surprisingly good condition considering how tarnished you say they were.
The only possibility I know of is LB Smith...but the mark is different.
Worth anything? They are pretty...no real antique value unless there is something I don't know about...but lots of decorative value.

Thanks, I don't think they are worth much either but I think they are very cool and I can't wait to use them in the fall. I have never seen anything like them before.
