steel vs asphalt roofing

jcclausMarch 1, 2005

We're building in W. Washington (lots of rain and fir needles) and would prefer raised rib steel roofing for the above reasons as well as looks.....but I've heard steel doubles the cost...true?...we'll have prox 42sq. of gable /valley roof style...anybody have that experience?
