My husband makes a great one with old bananas:

2-3 very ripe bananas
1 cup vanilla ice cream
2 cups ice cubes
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
cinnamon to taste

Hope you like it!

I just blend vanilla frozen yogurt with mixed berries (the frozen kind, thawed before blending). You could also pick the berry of your choice -- raspberry, blueberry, strawberry -- and/or add banana. If you want it more liquid-y, add some milk, or crush some ice for a slushier texture.

I always keep several trays of fruit ice in the freezer to make smoothies. I fill the ice trays with apricot or peach necter and throw those in the blender instead of water ice cubes.

Every morning I have: 1 banana, cinnamon & honey to taste, peaches and non-fat yogurt. Note: the cinnamon + honey is touted to be extremely healthful. Enjoy.

I've been trying to duplicate the Citrus Squeezer from Jamba Juice at home without much luck. I know all the ingredients but I just can't get it to taste right. It's still good though but not the same.

I think there's a science to this Smoothie making.

Take plastic container--chop banana size of dice or less in a single row; put foil on top lay out a bunch of rasberries, freeze. I never worry about the fruit changing color; it doesn't seem to. In the morning pour one cup of milk; blend together, maybe add vanilla. Blenderize.
Sometimes I use less milk and voila --ice cream.
Any fruit can be diced and frozen overnite. Instead of milk you can use buttermilk, carrot juice, cranberry. Sometimes I add a little cocoa powder, yogurt or honey, etc. I don't even like bananas usually, but they provide a nice smooth base. The one trick is that the fruit cannot be big chunks, or it doesn't really blenderize smoothly.
