ID-ing a Copper Mexican Wall Hanging - Deity Maybe?

spicegirl_0101July 13, 2014

I bought this piece in Mexico about 20 years ago. It is made of copper and my guess is that it represents an Aztec deity. Or maybe a deity from the Lambayeque culture (found online).

I'm just curious if anyone has any info or insight on details. The style doesn't fit our home, but I just don't want to get rid of this little treasure.
