Pulled Pork recipe
I just did some pulled pork. This is my tried and true recipe.
8 lb. pork Boston Butt
rubbed down with Wild Willy's Number One-Derful Rub
smoked 5 hours in electric smoker [one of those cheap $100 types]
removed from smoker [cut into 2 pieces] and put into a crockpot on low for 8 hours.
Wild Willy's Number One-Derful Rub
Â Â¾ cup paprika
Â Â¼ cup freshly ground black pepper
Â Â¼ cup coarse salt, either kosher or sea salt
Â Â¼ cup sugar Â 2 tablespoons chili powder
Â 2 tablespoons garlic powder
Â 2 tablespoon onion powder
Â 2 teaspoons cayenne
Mix the spices thoroughly in a bowl. Store covered in a cool, dark pantry. Makes about 2 cups.
