Help Identifying - Antique Engraving Press Or Metal Stamp

PURCHASED THIS AT A LOCAL FLEAMARKET - MARKED AS AN ENGRAVING PLATE

I CANNOT FIND ANY INFO ONLINE, AND WAS LOOKING FOR A ESTIMATED VALUE

IT IS APPROX 9" AND HAS A HANDLE ON OTHER SIDE

ANYONE EVER SEEN ONE OF THESE, AND HAVE SOME REFRANCE TO SHARE?

I believe it's a wall paper printer....likely made in India...or Phillipines.....used to make patterns on walls....

it's a "batik stamp"

You dip the stamp in hot wax resist and stamp the cloth, then the next step is to dye the cloth.

I have a couple of these. Yes, batik stamps. I bought mine at the Field Museum, after a batik exhibition. You see them in wood, too, though I love the copper ones. Take a fine needlenose pliers (no teeth) and straigthen out those bent pieces, and show it off!
