I want to grill some veg. on the grill tonight and was wonderind ehat i need to do. And what kind of herbs would be good on them. I fixed some the other night in the oven and they were really good.
Sorry about the late response, but I hope this helps. You take just about any vegetable, coat it in olive oil and herbs, and then grill (direct medium) to suit. My favorite is just salt and pepper or Lawreys Season Salt. I've done corn on the cob, zuccini, bell peppers, all types of potatoes, beans, snap peas, mushrooms, tomatoes, asparagus. Sorry, I'm sure I butchered the spelling of some of those.
I marinate my veggies in olive oil and balsalmic vinegar. I do peppers, onions, asparagas, and broccoli.
When I grill corn on the cob, I soak in in salt water for about 30 minutes prior to putting it on the grill.
On the Food Channel the other night, they were grilling some pineapple rings. They coated the rings in cinnamon sugar....then grilled them. That really looked good.
