Removing spots from marble countertop

nmhomeJuly 14, 2008

Hi - I have a bathroom countertop that I think is marble - picture attached is you think you can help me ID it positively. Soaps and other bathroom products leave marks on it - any suggestions for removing the marks and re-sealing?
