I live in the Northeast and have a finished basement with hot water baseboard heat, laminate flooring and sheet rock walls. Due to a faulty sump pump, I needed to replace some soggy sheet rock in one of the closets. I discovered that there was no insulation behind the sheet rock. The one consolation was that the studs are not directly touching the concrete walls. Can anyone recommend an effective way to insulate the walls without tearing them down? Spray foam? Cellulose? Thanks!
