curing of walls

builderswifeAugust 10, 2006

I have kind of a dumb question. How long do the walls need to cure after pouring? What determins the length of time? I really don't want to wait a month before the trusses can be set. Thanks in advance.

Cure for what purpose? Building can begin within a few days, but the moisture cure needs to be insured for at least 30 days. The concrete grows stronger each day during the curing process UNLESS it dries out. Once it is dried out, it NEVER again increases in strength.
