Pouring concrete in cold weather
I'm getting a room addition to my house and part of the addition is a cellar. It will be about 7' below grade. I've been working on getting the addition since May and now found out I need to apply for a variance and the soonest I can get back to getting permits moving is around Thanksgiving.
So it looks like the soonest construction can start is likely during the winter. I live in Maryland.
My question is...
Is it OK for my contractor to pour and set concrete during the winter? Should I wait for spring?
