Getting paint OFF basment walls?

thatgirl2478June 14, 2006

Lower part is poured, uppers are block concrete... Paint appears to be latex and is peeling in sections (though not enough to just scrape it all off). 'Ready Strip' the green stuff they advertise on TV works ok - but will take A LOT of it to strip the whole basement (HAHA). Also need to strip the floor I believe ( see other post regarding sanitred - they recommend clean concrete free of paint for application).

Have you thought of just getting off what is loose and then sealing it with concrete primer? I have the same issue.
