Should I seal stone foundation and concrete floor?

mhm1May 2, 2007

We have a 90 year old house with a fieldstone foundation in Massachusetts. The mortar is crumbling and we get moisture but not water. Should we seal it? With what?

More important is to repair the mortar. It holds the house up.
