What Is This?

Hi All, I'm thinking this is some sort of "religious" relic, but not sure.

Measures about 18x8. Frame seems to be brass or copper.

Wanna buy it ????

Regards,

Jim

It looks like an upside down hummingbird feeder ;-)

That's my guess, too.

Maybe it holds holy water for hummingbirds? :)

I think it's some sort of a holder for a candle that has had a martini carafe put in the spot where the candle should have gone.

It is a plant rooter. I have a similar to yours and/or those at the link below. Mine doesn't have the wooden top on top of the glass piece. Is there a hole clear through it?

Thanks, Everybody!

Its identity is now a moot point! I was cleaning something that looked like loose glue off the top of the bottle, just using my thumb and very little pressure, and it shattered into hundreds of pieces! That is the thinnest glass (?) I have ever seen.

Now I gotta figure what I want to do with the framing! I'm sure my wife would like the hummingbird feeder idea! Fine with me, too.

Regards,

Jim
