O'Keefe & Merritt Stove

MafanMarch 2, 2011

I salvaged my Great-Grandmother's stove twenty years ago when her house sold because it makes such good Peanut Butter Cookies. I've kept it stored in my garage and need to sell it now. I think it is a 1940's model. It is Model P499 and Serial Number 734788. Can anyone tell me how to know when it was made and what it is worth?

There is stuff all over the internet about antique O'Keefe & Merritt gas stoves. They are quite expensive totally restored. It is quite difficult to offer any type of value not knowing the condition. If you've kept it in your garage, it's most likely the frame has rust.

I spent several years of my business career with Tappan/O'Keefe and Merritt.
