Need help selecting induction range

SeattlelandlordJanuary 20, 2014

I have a Whirlpool Induction range on order, but I learned this morning that the minimum pot size it can accommodate is 5.5" (on the 6" burner). I want to use a 4" stovetop espresso maker.

Does anyone know of an induction range with a smaller burner that would work?

Electrolux makes three ranges with a 5"-diameter right rear burner that supposedly handles pots down to 3.5" in diameter. The three models are Kenmore Elite 95073, Frigidaire Gallery FGIF3061NF, and Electrolux EI30IF40LS.

Which induction expresso maker do you intend to use on the burner?

+1 to laat. That will be more difficult to find than you think. Most are aluminum.

Since Seattlelandlord hasn't replied, I'll mention that Seattlelandlord said in another thread today that the model is a VEV Vigano Espresso Maker.
