Tapcon the baseplate every how many inches?

Just want to be sure and be code compliant in case its ever checked.

Anyone know a good online store to buy them....need 3 and 1/4"...sold out buy me.

I attach it every three to five feet. If the baseplate isn't pt, be sure to use 6 mil poly or strips of XPS under the base plate.

In areas of expansive soil, a "floating" wall system should be used.

Floating wall uses two baseplates.
The one attached to the wall framing
floats over the one on the floor by virtue
of large spikes.
