Need help identifying lamps

MollyDogFebruary 16, 2012

I was given a set of lamps from my aunt who has since passed away. I have no information on the lamps nor are there any identifying marks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Lovely lamps.....but the pcitures are tiny and won't enlarge.....and it would be nice to see a picture of the whole lamp.

You said no marks, but have you checked the body of the lamp carefully for some kind of signature? They're really pretty. Hand decorated and the addition of the white, raised enamel is often indicative of touches you'd expect from Japanese production. This does not mean they're cheap, btw.

Just judging on the general style, with the metal filigree base my hunch (and that is all it is) would be mid-fifties. Is is uber heavy? I suspect it is.

Calliope, you were right. They are from the 1950s! Didn't find out much more.
