Radon fix costs?

this_old_1969_ranchFebruary 25, 2007

I'd like to know any information about costs to fix radon problems. I do not want to DIY.

We did a HD test and came up just over the limit, but we have 2 young boys and don't want to mess around. On the other hand, I don't want to start throwing large sums of money at it if I don't have to.

Thanks!

This sounds in line with what I've heard.

"The average house costs about $1,200 for a contractor to fix, although radon abatement costs can range from about $500 to about $2,500."
