Magic Heat? A Good Idea?

epizani1January 18, 2007

I'm considering installing a Magic Heat Blower into my Oil Pipe to heat my basement. Is this a good idea? I would have to install it horizontlly and some of the websites claim that it can only be installed vertically. Has anyone tried this before? Is it a waste of time? Thanks.

I doubt it very much. The oil furnace flue probably will not draft properly with a heat recovery device in it.
