Kitchen cabinet doors and drawers rubber bumpers

| My kitchen cabinet doors and drawers do not close all the way due to the rubber bumpers. There is a 1/16" opening for dust to get in. Is this standard? |

| Yes. It prevents the slamming noise of wood striking wood. |
